The Monkey Farmer is a Legendary ally in Bloons Adventure Time TD, introduced in version 1.4. It attracts all ground collectibles on screen to itself, and picks them up once the collectibles reach its radius. The Monkey Farmer has no upgrades and can be equipped to any character. Unlike most allies, Monkey Farmer is not limited by No Allies restrictions, though it still counts as an ally for certain Daily Quests.
Generally, if the player does not have him, the Monkey Farmer is the best choice from Legendary Wish Orbs. While other choices, such as Vampire King or Lady Rainicorn may be stronger for clearing maps, the Monkey Farmer helps ease collecting items for $200 and, unlike the other legendary items which can be purchased from the Martian Games, cannot alternatively be acquired through other means besides real money.
Since the Monkey Farmer has infinite range, a player only needs to have 1 farmer on screen and as such there is no need to bring more than one Farmer to most games even if the player can obtain multiple copies of it. Equipping this to a character that has little value to ally slots, such as Flame Princess or C4 Charlie is recommended when ally slots are of importance.
A single Farmer being stunned by Wizard Attack will prevent it from collecting items, but this can be mitigated by equipping it to a character that can place multiple allies like Princess Bubblegum or using Warrior Bubblegum's Born to Rule upgrade.
The extra body in No Allies Martian Games allows for some niche strategies such as moving other towers for cheap in Shuffle, or serving as additional decoy for attacks in Wizard Attack or Magic Man.
Due to having a cost even if cheap, it may be wise to hold off on placing it down until some income generators like COBRAs are placed.
