The Engineer Monkey, originally known as the Monkey Engineer, is a monkey in the Bloons TD series series. He was introduced as a tower exclusive to Bloons TD 5 Deluxe, and has appeared in other games in the series since. His abilities include building sentries, placing foam to remove modifications from Bloons, placing down traps on the track to catch Bloons, and Overclocking other towers to make them more effective. He is distinguished by his large, yellow hard hat and wields a nail gun.

Bloons TD 5 generation

In Bloons TD 5 Deluxe, mobile version, mobile version, and Bloons Monkey City, the Monkey Engineer appears as a regular tower. His left path upgrades allow him to construct sentries, with later ones adding Cleansing Foam and Bloon Traps. His right path abilities allow him to Overclock other towers.

Bloons TD 6 generation

In Bloons TD 6, the Engineer Monkey was added in the version 12.0 update, and was available from launch in Bloons TD Battles 2. He is classified as a Support tower. His top path upgrades let him create increasingly powerful sentries, his middle path upgrades include Cleansing Foam and Overclock, and his bottom path upgrades involve making Bloon Traps. In BTD6, he has a Paragon called the Master Builder.
