Lady Rainicorn

Lady Rainicorn is a Legendary ally in Bloons Adventure Time TD. She allows other towers to be placed onto her, acting as a land and water surface. Note that the water portion of Lady Rainicorn will not trigger water-specific buffs such as Water Nymph, as it also allows for the placement of land towers. Stacking Lady Rainicorns on top of each other also allows placement on normally impossible to build areas like the track. Lady Rainicorn can be sold if towers are placed on the edges of her hitbox, where it is only considered land, and any tower placed this way above an actual body of water with Water Nymph can benefit from her buff.

Strategy
[edit | edit source]- This is one of the few allies where a player will only need one or two ally slots to maximize it's effectiveness, similar to a Monkey Farmer or the Martian Transport, especially as a player can obtain more Rainicorns through Commander Cassie's Scramble! upgrade, or Warrior Bubblegum's Born to Rule upgrade, if needed.
- Lady Rainicorn, like Jetpack, can allow both Cassies to be placed on levels without water, or for better positioning that the water space couldn't provide. It also suits Captain Cassie well as it allows more placements of her Pirate Crew to deal additional damage with the MOAB Takedown ability.
- Note that using Lady Rainicorn instead of an actual body of water prevents taking advantage of Dive Suit or Water Nymph.
- Placing characters on Lady Rainicorn can prevent normally hindering map effects from being triggered on them, such as placing characters on the water in Reconditioning Chamber or the lava in Flame Kitchen to avoid towers being stunned.
- Taking advantage of placing towers on the edge of Lady Rainicorn and selling her afterwards can be useful in Allies Only Martian Games, notably on maps with hazards such as Flame Kitchen. This lets the player position all allies out of range of hazards that would normally disable a tower, even without a second copy of Rainicorn.
