The Dartling Gunner (Dartling Gun prior to Bloons TD 6) is a Monkey that rapidly shoots darts from its gun in an inaccurate spread, aiming at the player's cursor. They were introduced in Bloons TD 4.

Gameplay

Bloons TD Series

In Bloons TD 6 and Bloons TD Battles 2, The Dartling Gunner is classified as a Military tower. In BTD6, it was introduced in v22.0 and in BTDB2, it was available from launch. It is the first tower that was released to be unlocked through popping bloons, requiring 3,000,000 bloons to be popped. The first path shoots lasers to pop the bloons, like its Bloons TD 5 counterpart. The second path shoots missiles that can pop any type of bloon and eventually deal massive damage to MOAB Class Bloons. The third path shoots buckshot that can knock back bloons.
