User:Hubianzhen/BCS sound effects and where they play in-game

Note from me

edit

One of the few things that many other wikis (including the Fandom Bloons Wiki) have but Blooncyclopedia doesn't have at the moment is the sound effects of games, as opposed to character voicelines. While Polavux did state that sound effects would get uploaded to this wiki at some point, he was more concerned about the wiki's information coverage like missing screenshots, so sound effect uploading would have to be delayed until after making sure nearly all the important images were uploaded and there were still storage space to allow uploading more files. For the Fandom Bloons Wiki, while it still has a good amount of sound effects for most games before BCS, after both reader and editor activities for the Fandom wiki begin to dwindle since late 2024, the sound effects from later BTD6 updates are also uploaded less frequently, and there are no sound effects of BCS at all due to a lack of BCS content pages.

I don't see much of a reason to add sound effects or even contribute further to the Fandom Bloons Wiki, especially after Indie Wiki Buddy added Blooncyclopedia to its listing. But as someone who quite frankly enjoys game audio and wants to share their passion and knowledge about it with the community, I swear to my oath. I will still share sound effects of Bloons games in The Sounds Resource, a sibling site to The Spriters Resource, mainly covering BCS sound effects, as BTD6's sound effects are already being maintained by other users thanks to the game's greater popularity.

You can find the BCS sound effects here. Please do keep in mind that sounds from the latest versions of BCS may not be available right away. This is because all sounds uploaded to The Sounds Resource need to go through an approval process which can take several days. If they still aren't available, please do reach out to me on Discord. I will try my best to upload those sounds as soon as I can, and get in touch with the website's staff if there are issues.

Honorable mentions

edit
File name Use(s)
MusicBossBloonarius Primal One soundtrack, used when fighting Dreadbloon. Interesting that the track is the exact same as the one from Bloons TD 6, and it even has the "Bloonarius" title!
QuincyVolume Technically a voiceline. Used while adjusting volume for the hero voicelines. Pretty sure it wasn't included on the BCS side of the wiki because it is the same as this voiceline.
