The Heli Pilot is a tower in the multiplatform version and console version of Bloons TD 5.
It flies around towards any location on screen, and fires twin darts at the first Bloons within its firing range. It has three targeting options by default, changing the controls for its movement, with one extra targeting option with the Pursuit upgrade.
- Follow Touch / Follow Mouse: Moves the Heli Pilot to the location where the screen was last tapped or the mouse was last hovered.
- Lock In Place: Lock the Heli Pilot on a specified location.
- Patrol Points: Moves between two different points.
It can be upgraded to enhance its rotors, either to shred Bloons or blow them away, as well as become either a DPS-focused Apache Dartship or a support-focused Support Chinook.
