Dreadbloon (also formatted as "The Dreadbloon" in Bloons Monkey City), titled Armored Behemoth, is a recurring Boss Bloon who debuted in the Flash version of Bloons Monkey City. It possesses the ability to drill through the earth like a subterrene and generate shields made of rock to protect itself.

Dreadbloon is a boss that can be battled in Bloons TD 5 and Bloons Monkey City. When entering the track, and again whenever a skull is reached, it gains a ceramic shield that must be destroyed before the main health bar can be damaged. When not shielded, Dreadbloon has lead immunity.

Dreadbloon is the third returning Boss Bloon to appear in Bloons TD 6. It again gains Ceramic shields that protect its Lead body, and now switches immunities among specific tower classes (Primary, Military, Magic, Support). When it re-shields, it summons Dreadrock Bloons that cause the Strong targeting priority to prioritize them.

Dreadbloon is the first (and so far only) Boss Bloon that appears in the Boss Battle event. It has three decks with different abilities and decks:

  • Armored Might focuses on adding Armor to itself and its Bloons to reduce the damage it takes.
  • Deck Manipulation focuses on sabotaging the player's deck with Avalanche cards that harm the player while in their hand.
  • Board Destruction focuses on removing Monkeys and Bloons from the player's side of the board.

Appearance

[edit | edit source]

Dreadbloon most commonly appears as a MOAB-Class Bloon with a large conical drill mounted on the front of its envelope. Its envelope is brown with yellow stripes around the midsection. It has four yellow tail fins and two additional fins on its sides. It has a band of metal plating around its rear section that connects two engines under its side fins. It has two purple 'angry eyes' painted on the front of its envelope.

In Bloons TD 6, Dreadbloon's appearance changes based on its tier, gaining more metal plating and fins on its midsection and replacing its propellers with jet engines. Elite Dreadbloon has even more metal plating, fins, and jet engines, and its eyes become black and purple. It higher tiers, it gains even more metal plating and fins, its drill bit becomes golden, and it gains a large jet engine on its rear and a third eye on top of its midsection.

In Bloons Card Storm, Dreadbloon has different designs used depending on the stage. Deck Manipulation replaces its yellow fins and horizontal yellow stripes with purple fins and purple vertical stripes. Board Destruction replaces its fins and stripes with orange fins and two orange chevrons on top of its midsection (similar to those on the BFB).

  • It enjoys bread.[1]
  • It collects pretty rocks.[2]
