Uses Cargo to generate a list of Bloons TD 6 upgrades of a specific tower, split into three subheadings for each path ordered by tier. This uses LST to transclude paragraph text written in sections with the name "lede". This template also works for Powers Pro. If the tower has a Paragon, this template can detect and display a box for that automatically.
| Parameter | Description | Type | Status | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tower | 1 | The name of the tower to use in the query. Selects upgrades with an equal value in the "tower" column in the "btd6_upgrades" table.
| String | required |
Example usage
{{BTD6 upgrade list by tower/new|Desperado}}
Path 1
This upgrade does not count Bloons the Desperado cannot target (e.g., Bloons behind line of sight blockers or Camo Bloons when it does not have Camo detection) when determining the closest Bloon. If crosspathed with Deadeye, it does not count Bloons within the rifle's deadzone while using the rifle attack.
This upgrade does not count Bloons the Desperado cannot target (e.g. Bloons behind line of sight blockers or Camo Bloons when it does not have Camo detection) when determining the number of Bloons within range. If crosspathed with Deadeye or Enforcer, this upgrade only counts Bloons within range of the attack the Desperado is currently using, and Deadeye's rifle does not count Bloons within its deadzone. Crosspathing with Bounty Hunter and Golden Justice also applies this while using Marked to Pop, but does not affect the attack speed of the passive marking attack.
This upgrade also improves the following base stats of its pistol attack:
- Damage per shot increases from 6 to 20, and now deals +40 damage to Ceramic Bloons
- Attack cooldown reduces from 1.2 seconds to 0.3 seconds (without affecting the time it takes to unload a full burst)
Path 2
This upgrade also modifies the pistol, increasing its base damage from 1 to 6 but reducing its range to 40. It also unlocks the Take Aim Activated Ability, which allows the Desperado to temporarily buff a selected tower, increasing its range by 25%, reducing its projectile spread by 50%, and granting it Camo detection for 15 seconds, with a 30-second cooldown.
- A non-damaging attack that places a mark on a Bloon every few seconds. Marked Bloons take double damage from all Desperados and earn double cash when popped.
- A Monkey Special for all Desperados that allows them to prioritize marked Bloons, similar to Camo Prioritization.
- The Marked to Pop Activated Ability, which rapidly marks Bloons for a short time, then attacks all marked Bloons, with infinite range.
- An improved Take Aim ability, granting the targeted tower more range and accuracy and now allowing it to damage Black Bloons, White Bloons, and Purple Bloons for the duration.
Additionally, with this upgrade, the pistol and rifle now deal bonus damage to Ceramic Bloons (+6 and +10, respectively), which doesn't stack with its extra damage to Fortified Bloons when dealt to Fortified Ceramic Bloons.
- Increases the crit damage of all its attacks from 4× to 8×.
- Improves the pistol attack to now deal 24 base damage, +24 damage to Ceramic Bloons, mark the target Bloon, and produce an area of effect around the target that hits up to 8 Bloons overlapping the initial shot's centerpoint, dealing the same base damage and damage to Ceramic layers as the initial shot. The AoE can hit the same Bloon as the initial shot.
- Increases the base attack speed of the marking attack from every 6 seconds to every 3 seconds, and reduces its minimum attack cooldown from 3 seconds to 1 second.
- Increases the base damage of its Marked to Pop ability from 30 to 300. Its version of the ability occupies a separate slot from Bounty Hunter's.
Path 3
If the Desperado has additional weapons, it counts the whole range(s) of the Desperado that overlap. For Deadeye and above, the rifle still loses stacks from towers placed in its deadzone. For Enforcer and above, the shotgun only loses stacks from towers placed in its range, while the pistol loses stacks from towers placed in range of either weapon.
Unlike Quickdraw and Standoff, this upgrade does count Bloons the Desperado cannot target (e.g., Bloons behind line of sight blockers or Camo Bloons when it does not have Camo detection) when determining the number of Bloons in range. If crosspathed with Deadeye, this upgrade only counts Bloons within range of the weapon the Desperado is currently using, and the rifle does count Bloons within the deadzone. Crosspathing with Bounty Hunter and Golden Justice also applies this while using Marked to Pop, but not the passive marking attack.
The shotgun has a 1.97-second attack cooldown. Like its pistol attack, it fires the shotgun twice each time it attacks, with a 0.1-second burst interval. Unlike the pistol, it always fires twice; if there are no Bloons it can target after the first shot, it fires again in the same direction as the first shot. It uses the shotgun if it can target any Bloons within its close range (36 units before range buffs), and uses its pistol otherwise. Nomad's attack speed buff only counts Bloons within range of the weapon the Desperado is currently using.
Additionally, this upgrade improves both of its attacks:
- Increases the pistol's base damage from 6 to 18, and grants it +18 damage to Ceramic Bloons.
- Increases the shotgun's knockback to -200% speed for regular Bloons and allows it to knock MOAB-Class Bloons back at -50% speed.
- Causes each shotgun pellet to spray three shrapnel projectiles after damaging a Bloon, spread over a 120° angle. Each shrapnel projectile deals 1 damage and has 6 pierce.
Additionally, this upgrade improves both of its attacks:
- Increases the pistol's base damage from 18 to 50 and damage to Ceramic Bloons from +18 to +50, and doubles its attack speed (without affecting its 0.1-second burst interval).
- Increases the shotgun pellets' damage from 3 to 10, grants them +40 damage to MOAB-Class Bloons, and increases their knockback to -300% speed for regular Bloons and -200% speed for MOAB-Class Bloons.
- Increases the shotgun shrapnel's damage from 1 to 3, and grants them damage over time that deals 10 Fire-type damage, and +10 damage to MOAB-Class Bloons, every 1.5 seconds for 9 seconds. Quickdraw causes the shrapnel to also deal +10 damage to Ceramic Bloons.
