The Sniper Monkey is a Military tower in Bloons TD Battles 2.
The Sniper Monkey is a Military tower in Bloons TD Battles 2.
The Sniper Monkey attacks by shooting at Bloons with its rifle from any distance, dealing 2 damage. Rather than shooting a projectile, its shots deal damage to the target instantly. Each shot deals 2 damage to the target, but it cannot pop Lead Bloons or frozen Bloons, and it cannot detect Camo Bloons (unless it has camo detection such as Night Vision Goggles). It has a moderately slow attack speed (attacks every 1.35 seconds) and can only hit one Bloon at a time.

Sniper Monkey has a rather weak position across all stages of the game, as despite its single-target role it struggles to chip down individual Bloons enough for its cost without substantial other defense. Its early-game is also one of the worst out of all towers in the game, due to its minimal pierce, as well as struggling to all Tight rushes while having minimal late-game damage alone due to a severe lack of pierce and single-target damage. As a result, it is more of a supporting tower to add to loadouts, having the option for alt eco via Supply Drop and Elite Sniper, as well as reliable blimp stuns for the early 20s via Maim MOAB.

Setting on Strong is usually preferred when using the Sniper, to single out the stronger Bloons.

Some Heroes that work well with Snipers include DJ Benjammin' (efficient income generation) and Smudge Catt Ezili (Elite Defender synergy for early 20's).
