Max is a DPS character that gets stronger through [[Bullseye]] but can still do decent DPS otherwise. His main weakness is his short range but besides [[Sai (BATTD)|Sai]], [[Supermonkey (BATTD)|Supermonkey]], and [[Commander Cassie (BATTD)|Commander Cassie]], he is  generally the fourth best candidate for bringing more [[Technological Terror (BATTD)|Technological Terror]]s (or 5th if using [[Sam (BATTD)|Sam]] with [[Plasma Goggles]]).
 
Like most DPS characters, Max wants attack speed and damage/MOAB damage. [[Baker's Shard]], [[Heart Gauntlets]] are the most important attack speed trinkets for him, while his weapon should be [[Splodey Darts (BATTD)|Splodey Darts]] as it gives lots of attack speed alongside an explosion that helps his DPS slightly. [[Stone of Ancient Knowledge]] gives him another projectile, which combined with [[Engineers Blueprints]] helps boost his DPS even further. If range is an issue, he can also use [[Glasses of Nerdicon]]. Note that Bullseye will disable any weapon-specific attacks, so Splodey Dart explosions and [[Frozen Throwing Knives]] shards will not be generated while the ability is active.
