It grants the Glue Gunner's glue a damage-over-time effect, dealing 1 damage every 2 seconds for the entire time the Bloon is glued. It also allows Glue Gunner to target and glue [[MOAB-Class Bloon]]s, dealing damage-over-time but not slowing them unless [[MOAB Glue (BTD6)|MOAB Glue]] is purchased. <!-- Glue lasting half as long on moabs is not a thing. -->

The 2-1-0 Corrosive Glue serves as a decent early-game, performing well against high-tier Bloons (such as the {{B|Zebra Bloon|BTD6}}s of Round 26 and {{B|Rainbow Bloon|BTD6}}s of Round 35). However, it performs little assistance against clumps of smaller Bloons (such as 27 and 36), in addition to missing its shots often on [[Expert]] maps.

Corrosive Glue is generally not recommended as a crosspath. While it makes {{B|Glue Hose|BTD6}} decent for the mid-game, the greatly improved utility against {{B|Super Ceramic Bloon|BTD6}}s granted by {{B|Stronger Glue|BTD6}} makes Stronger Glue the generally superior crosspath. {{B|Glue Strike|BTD6}} and {{B|Glue Storm|BTD6}} benefit signficantly from Corrosive Glue's self-synergetic damage, which plays a role in maximizing pops in Race Events and CT Time Attack. However, the Corrosive Glue crosspath is too niche in other game modes, and would benefit more from increased Ceramic slow and glue duration with the bottom crosspath. On the other hand, {{B|MOAB Glue|BTD6}}, {{B|Relentless Glue|BTD6}}, and {{B|Super Glue|BTD6}} all benefit far more from the middle crosspath's increased pierce, as none of the glue effects soak blimp layers, and self-synergizing stuns in the midgame is often too impractical.
