Fast Track Mode icon

Fast Track Mode is an extra in Bloons TD 6 introduced in version 45.0. It allows the player to skip the first 25% of the rounds when starting a game. The player starts with extra cash and their Hero starts with extra XP when placed depending on the number of rounds skipped.

Fast Track Mode can only be obtained by purchasing the Fast Track Pack from the Shop for USD$8.99, which also includes 5 3-0-0 Banana Farm Insta Monkeys, 5 Cash Drops, and 5 Banana Farmers. It can only be used for free in the Quest Least Cash, Fast Tracked.

Due to the fact that Hard and Impoppable difficulties start on round 3 and round 6 respectively, Fast Track Mode starts them on round 22 and 29 respectively.

Fast Track Mode cannot be enabled in CHIMPS, Deflation, Race Events, Contested Territory, Legends, Boss Challenges in Battle Mode, Boss Bloon Events in ranked mode, or Boss Rush. It can also be disabled with challenge rules, such as in the Challenge Editor.

Hero XP

[edit | edit source]

Heroes gain additional starting XP when they are placed for the first time if Fast Track Mode is enabled. The XP is not given again if the Hero is sold and replaced. The amount of XP gained is dependent on the difficulty of both the game mode and the map being played on, as with Heroes' regular XP gain. However, there is an offset that decreases a Hero's starting XP depending on their base cost. For example, Striker Jones receives less starting XP than Quincy, despite both having a ×1 level curve. Conversely, Adora and Psi have the same offset applied to their starting XP despite having different level curves. Captain Churchill, being the most expensive Hero to place, does not receive any additional starting XP if the game difficulty is Easy, and neither does Corvus if the map difficulty is also Beginner.

The amount of additional starting XP can also be increased by placing a Hero atop the Ancient Portal pedestal that is submerged inside the pool; however, placing a Hero in the range of an Energizer does not yield the same bonus.

Starting Cash

[edit | edit source]

The player will start with extra cash on Fast Track Mode to compensate for the rounds being skipped. Because more rounds are being skipped at higher difficulties, the starting cash goes up accordingly. This can stack with the More Cash More Cash Monkey Knowledge for an additional $200.
