The base Mermonkey in ''Bloons TD 6'' is depicted as a monkey with light blue fur, lighter blue skin, purple fins on its head and scaly tail, and two light pink horns.
In ''Bloons Pop!'', the Mermonkey is colored differently - overall, the colors of its fur and skin are a dark turquoise, its head fin is light turquoise, and its ears more obviously resemble fins. Additionally, there is a bubble-esque pattern on its fur and its horns resemble coral.
