Season

Seasons (sometimes called Bling Seasons) are a game mechanic in Bloons TD Battles 2. Seasons last for four weeks (28 days), during which players can participate in Ranked Battles to earn trophies and reach higher arenas. Each season comes with a Season Rewards track that unlocks cosmetic items, which progresses by completing Season Quests and collecting Golden Bananas. At the end of each season, every player that participated earns a medal based on their current arena and/or placement on the Hall of Masters leaderboard. There is a 24-hour grace period between each season where Ranked Battles are unavailable.

Season Rewards

Season Rewards are the cosmetic items players earn by progressing a season's rewards track. Each season introduces 24 new Season Rewards, which come in four sets of six items. The first and second sets consist of bling, profile, and tower customization items with no particular shared theme, while the third and fourth sets each consist of items from a Hero Showcase. Once the season ends, the Hero Showcase items enter the rotation of Showcases in the shop, where they can only be purchased with real money, while the bling, profile, and tower customization items currently become unobtainable.

Golden Bananas

Season Rewards are earned by collecting Golden Bananas. The number of Golden Bananas required to progress to the next tier increases at higher tiers. At any time, Monkey Money can be converted to Golden Bananas at a 1:1 ratio to instantly complete a set in progress.

Season Quests

Golden Bananas are earned by completing Season Quests. The player has three quest slots: one for bronze quests, one for silver quests, and one for gold quests, with each type having a different set of quests and rewarding a different number of Golden Bananas upon completion. Each quest slot only allows one quest to progress at a time, and inactive quests are stored in a queue for each slot. Active quests can be rerolled up to six times per day by watching an ad (mobile) or using a Reward Boost (PC).

Battles 2 players without a Club Membership are given a limited number of quests each day (plus one quest per slot on the first day of the season) and can only store a limited number of inactive quests per slot. Club members and Battles 2+ players have unlimited quests and earn twice the number of Golden Bananas for completing them.
