Gender is a game mechanic in Bloons Adventure Time TD that provides specific buffs to Characters holding certain Trinkets, while standing near a character of the opposite gender. For the buff to apply, characters of the opposite gender must be in the range of the character holding the trinket.
List of gender influenced trinkets

| Black Bow Tie | +6 Range and +15% Attack Speed while near a female character. | Male Characters |
| Mind Games | Character's upgrades and allies are 5% cheaper when in range of a female character. | Male Characters |
| Cursed Ice Ring | +4 Range and +15% Attack Speed while near a male character. If near Ice King, he gets this effect too. | Female Characters |
