Laser Blasts is the Super Monkey's path 1 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons Monkey City. It replaces the Super Monkey's darts with lasers that have 2 pierce instead of 1 and can pop frozen Bloons. In the Flash version, despite appearing to shoot two lasers at a time in parallel, each shot is actually a single projectile. In the mobile version, the two lasers are separate projectiles, each with two pierce. Since Robo Monkey and Technological Terror already shoot two projectiles at a time, they don't benefit from the projectiles being separate, so they only benefit from the increased pierce when crosspathed.

Strategy

This is an efficient upgrade for a lower-tier Super Monkey, even more so in the mobile version with its increased projectiles. This makes it a cheap way to bolster MOAB-class damage for cheap.
