Golden Bloons are a recurring type of Bloon that first appeared in the iOS version of Bloons. They are characterized by being rare or limited, usually being harmless but difficult to pop, and often dropping helpful items or resources when damaged and/or popped.
In the Bloons TD series, non-Golden Bloons can be converted to gold through other means, though these are unrelated to Golden Bloons.
