This is a mouthful. I missed a fair amount, there is quite a lot that goes in this one for what is effectively a 4 min gameplay loop.

Bloons Blast was a browser game in the Bloons series developed by Ninja Kiwi and published in 2011. Ninja Kiwi held a closed beta test for Bloons Blast on January 2011,[2] before fully launching the game exclusively on Facebook on February 2011.[1]The game was based on Bloons 2, but with an emphasis on a randomly selected selection of levels for high scores instead of playing levels in a linear fashion.

At an unknown date around 2012-2013, Bloons Blast was removed from Facebook, rendering the game unplayable.

Gameplay

Bloons Blast has the same basics established in previous Bloons games: the player controls a monkey that must pop Bloons with a limited amount of darts. This monkey can aim darts in any direction, and darts can be thrown with more power, letting them travel faster and further. Outside of this, the game played very differently from other Bloons games. Instead of completing levels in a linear fashion, players instead play through a series of randomly assigned levels on a time limit ranging from one to four minutes depending on various factors, with the goal of achieving the highest score possible.[3][4] After running out of darts or popping all the bloons, the player will load another level, although their points will not be counted if they miss the pop count.[4]

By throwing darts rapidly and popping darts with each throw, the player gradually builds up combo multipliers that increase the amount of score earned by popping bloons. When the timer runs out, the player will get their Last Blast!, where they have five seconds to throw a Blast Dart, a dart that creates an explosion that can even destroy impassable blocks. After the Last Blast is thrown, the score is given for that round, and the player receives experience and coins.[4]
