Mermonkeys. No Mere Monkeys is a Tale Quest in Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 44.0.

Patch with the Knowledge

Template:BTD6 quest part info Patch with the Knowledge takes place in Luminous Cove on Medium. In this part, when the game starts, there are 2 preplaced towers: two 0-0-0 Mermonkeys. Selling or upgrading these preplaced towers is impossible. The only available tower is Mermonkey, but the Tier 4 and Tier 5 upgrades are restricted and you are only allowed to place new Mermonkeys after completing Round 4. After completing Round 1, one of the preplaced Mermonkeys gets automatically upgraded to 0-3-0. After completing Round 2, a third Mermonkey gets preplaced, having the 3-0-2 upgrade paths. After completing Round 3, the remaining 0-0-0 preplaced Mermonkey gets automatically upgraded to a 0-0-3 Mermonkey.

In this part, there are 8 preplaced towers: 3-0-0 Mermonkey, 0-3-0 Mermonkey, 0-0-3 Mermonkey, 0-3-0 Sniper Monkey, 0-0-0 Heli Pilot, 2-0-0 Monkey Sub, 2-0-0 Monkey Sub, 4-0-0 Monkey Buccaneer. Selling these towers gives 0 cash. Only the Tier 5 Mermonkey upgrades are disabled.
