The Desperado's basic attack fires two shots from its pistol each time it attacks, with a 0.1-second delay between shots. It has a 1.2-second [[attack speed|attack cooldown]], but it does not start its cooldown until after it has fired both shots, so it effectively has a 1.3-second cooldown if it fires both shots. If it fires the first shot, but there are no targetable Bloons within range when the second shot is supposed to fire, it will wait until it can fire the second shot; it only fires one shot the next time it attacks and does not start its attack cooldown until after the second shot.
