Spice Islands is an Intermediate map in Bloons TD 6. It is an archipelago and mostly consists of water.

Layout

Bloons enter from the left side and weave between the islands before exiting to the south. There is little space to place land towers, with only 5 relatively small islands being present. One of the islands is full of coconut trees, which can be removed for a payment of $1000 cash.

Strategy

Spice Islands is an almost completely water map, making water towers in general have far more importance on this map. Significant amounts of land towers can still be placed with Arctic Wind. The single-lane nature of this map makes it not particularly difficult, despite the lack of land space. Spice Islands can generally be beaten using guidelines listed below.

Due to Spice Islands's abundance of water, the towers listed below excel on this map.

Name Portrait Reasoning
Admiral Brickell Brickell is powerful during all parts of the game. Her ability to grant attack speed, pierce, Camo detection, and normal damage type to nearby water towers with Naval Tactics is crucial throughout the entire run. The level 8 granting +1 pierce to those towers helps significantly as well. Mega Mines gives Brickell great power in her own might, deleting large amounts of RBE, dealing with DDTs well, and doing good damage to the BAD.
Carrier Flagship Carrier Flagship is solid throughout the latter part of mid-game and late-game, and can save up tremendous amounts of money for an expensive win condition. Its ~17% buff to all water towers on the screen is crucial, due to the power of water-based strategies on this map.
Destroyer Spice Islands's layout grants massive space for Destroyers and allows them to attack frequently from both sides, catapulting their power. 5-6 of them sweep through the mid-game when given Camo detection, paired with Stronger Stimulant, and Admiral Brickell. When given Perma-Brew, which the Destroyers save up well for, they wipe out the late-game with absolute ease.
