Shield Gas Bloon is an Advanced Bloon card in Bloons Card Storm. It adds 30 Shield to a random other Bloon on the player's side each time it takes damage.
Tips

- A damaged Shield Gas Bloon reduces damage that friendly Bloons take. The tradeoff compared to Growth Gas Bloon is that it is cheaper but only affects a single random Bloon, and offsets health loss instead of gaining health.
- If possible, avoid hitting the Shielded Gas Bloon before hitting it afterwards; doing it would make the target take less damage, because the shield took the damage instead.
- Multiple Shield Gas Bloons can be used to reduce the total damage of board clears. However, there is a chance that Shield Gas Bloon could target other Shield Gas Bloons instead.
- If a Shield Gas Bloon is shielded, its health must decrease to trigger shielding another Bloon.

Development
This card existed in the data of Bloons Card Storm since the Firstlook test, and was originally named "Shield Spore Bloon", though it went unused until the full release. The full release changed its effect and stats.

Shield Gas Bloon was proposed to have its Health increased from 150 to 200 in the Version 6.2 playtests, but Ninja Kiwi reduced the bonus Health to +10 (160 Health).[1] The resulting balance change was deemed a minor but useful balance change by some playtesters.[2]
