Lightning Ring is the tier 6 Magic core weapon in Bloons Supermonkey 2. Like its previous upgrades, it uses energy instead of Pierce, letting it use up all its energy against a single target, or popping multiple bloons with said energy. In the mobile version, this upgrade increases its radius by 10 and increases the energy of its ring and lightning attacks by 5 and 20, respectively.

Strategy
As it only does damage within a radius of 40 with only 110 energy every second by default, Solid Doom's 525 (1500 in flash) DPS from a much greater distance outclasses this weapon. This upgrade is only worth purchasing as a stepping stone for Lightning Trail, and should only ever be used for Magic Only medals or Magic Only Endless Mine modifiers.
