Emboldened Bloon is a Large Bloon card in Bloons Card Storm. Its Gold cost is reduced by 1 per Bloon currently in the player's queue. It can reach a minimum cost of 0 if all slots are filled, but that prevents the Bloon from being played, so its actual minimum cost (before discounts) is 1 Gold in practice.
Tips

- Emboldened Bloon benefits from swarms of Bloons to be efficient. It is best played as one of the final few Bloons on your track for the biggest possible discount.
- Red Bloon Storm stops Emboldened Bloon from being placed. While still possible with two Arrow Shots from Quincy or a Bloon Melter to pop a friendly Red Bloon, this is impractical. Using Bloons such as Swarm Red Bloon instead is more practical and easier to use.
- Having lots of cheap bloons sent before the Emboldened Bloon will save the most money. Swarm Reds, Reds, Blues, and Swarm Blues are recommended to fill most of the board for cost efficiency. Slower Bloons such as Steady Growth Bloon, Camo Blue Bloon, or Lead Bloon can also be used for this due to their slow speed making them easier to stack on your track.
- Bolstered Bloon can be used to set up a swarm of Bloons, and Emboldened Bloon can be used after to play a cheaper, more tanky card using the swarm that boosted the Bolstered Bloon.
- This card can be used in midrange play-styles to some effect, as the slow Bloons the archetype usually plays naturally stay on field long enough to make Emboldened cheap. Do beware that Emboldened Bloon has fairly low value as a card since it is only one charge.
- Some players may use Emboldened Bloon's cost scaling to alter Bloontonium gains from playing it, however Golden Blimp is typically better at this role.

Development
[edit | edit source]Version 6.2 playtesters proposed buffs to the Emboldened Bloon's Health, due to it having below average stats for its cost.[1] Initially, community playtesters proposed its health to increase from 300 to 400 Health, but it was reduced to 350, as it was deemed a little too strong for storm aggro.[1]
