The card artwork portrays a battlefield, with three Camo Leads in the foreground, barbed wire and Czech hedgehogs scattered on the ground, and a monkey on a rock in the background confused at not finding anything through their binoculars.
Camo Lead Bloon has Armor while also being a Camo Bloon, making it tough to take out with cards like Spike Storm or Ninja Monkey. The higher health and Armor makes this a very tanky Bloon.
Due to the very slow 3 delay, Camo Lead Bloon is best used in decks where being a bit slower offensively is expected. Using it with cards with high Health like Zombie MOAB can make for a lot of early pressure, as Camo Lead’s stats are high for its cost and can hide better to compensate its long delay.
Using cards like Healing Bloon or Prince Of Darkness can mitigate chip damage the opponent may get on this Bloon. The Camo and Armor combined make popping Camo Lead Bloon in one turn difficult to do, allowing healing to be more consistently valuable.
This card originally had 1 charge, but it was increased to 2 charges before the update released due to feedback from community playtesters.[1] The original charge count was displayed in the update video.[2]
During Version 6.2, the initial proposed buff by Ninja Kiwi to the Camo Lead Bloon was proposed to be buffed from 150 to 170 Health,[3] then changed to 220 Health by Ninja Kiwi,[4] but was reduced to 200 Health by community testers.[3] The health buff is reduced because it made Camo Lead Bloon too annoying to play against without specific anti-Camo tech.[4]
