Double Rainbows are the only Double Bloons capable of OTKing an opponent without health buffs, assuming they lack anything to stop it (mainly Defenders, shields, or active Adora passive). So, they're a good candidate for triple Quick Ready when combined with Quincy Action Figure for spare gold in a single turn.
The Round 21-22 storm Double Rainbows can receive three Quick Readies without needing any special setup besides reaching the gold cap and using Amelia's Act of Power at least once, although depending on deck waiting for the round 31-32+ Double Ceramic Bloon waves, then using Quick Ready followed by Double Trouble on the healthiest 1 delay Ceramic, may be more effective.
If the opponent lacks any screen clears such as Thunder Druid and Super Monkey Storm, Double Rainbows combined with lots of standard Large Bloons will pressure the opponent to focus on the Double Rainbows first.
Double Rainbows have 2 charges and cost 10 Gold, one of the most potential Bloontonium of a single bloon card (excluding very specific Bloontonium Gas Bloon scenarios), next to things like an undiscounted Discount Bloon and DDT.
Version 6.4 buffed Double Rainbow's health to make it more of a lingering Double Bloon threat, as well as increasing Storm difficulty.[1] The 10 Gold design was kept to not alter its efficiency for precise Bloontonium benefits when applied to Heroes.[1]
Double Rainbow Bloons debuted in the Firstlook Test as only a card from the Storm. It became a playable card in the Full Playable Test. This trait is shared by Double Ceramic Bloon and Stunned.
