Helium Bloons are Bloons in the Bloons series that first appeared in Even More Bloons. They start inside of glass jars on each level. When a jar is broken, it releases the Helium Bloon inside, which slowly floats up until it reaches another Bloon or a block directly above it. If unobstructed, it eventually floats out of the playable area, which can force the level to restart if it becomes unbeatable. If frozen by an Ice Bloon, it still floats upwards, which is part of the intended solution of some levels. They are visually identical to Rainbow Bloons in the first generation of the Bloons TD series, though they are otherwise unrelated.

Helium Bloons do not appear in Bloons 2, though any Bloon in Bloons 2 can move on a path. Unlike Helium Bloons, moving Bloons stop moving if frozen.
