The editor who added this notice elaborates: Determine definitively how this trinket interacts with upgrades and equipment that adds attacks. (For example, equipping this to Jake causes him to gain the range buff when upgraded to Harmful If Swallowed due to it being a ranged attack, but not if equipped with Gentle Lasers, which also grants him a ranged attack.)

The Powerometer is a Super Rare trinket in Bloons Adventure Time TD. It grants stat buffs depending on the attacks that the character has without upgrades. If a character has a ranged attack, all of their attacks gain +8 range, and if a character has a melee attack, their melee attacks gain +2 damage. If a character has one type of attack, but not the other, then upgrades that add attacks do not grant them the other buff (for example, Dungeon Finn does not gain the range buff from any of his upgrades that grant ranged attacks).
Due to a bug, C4 Charlie doesn't receive either the range buff or melee buff because his attack is not considered melee or ranged. Dungeon Finn's star level 10 attack doesn't count towards the range buff. Marceline gains both buffs, however.
