The Baker's Shard is an Epic trinket in Bloons Adventure Time TD. It increases the attack speed of the character it is equipped to. It has the highest attack speed bonus of any trinket. It can be equipped to all except Supermonkey and Commander Cassie.
- As most characters benefit greatly from attack speed, Baker's Shard should be the first trinket used for attack speed when available. However, some characters are primarily reliant on attacks that do not scale with attack speed, or are not even used for anything offensive at all.
- Sam, Tuxedo Jake, and Warrior Bubblegum are the three main characters that receive little benefit from attack speed. Sam's main beam attack will not increase tick rate with attack speed and instead only decrease time spent readying the beam, while Tuxedo Jake and Warrior PB's strongest uses do not require attack speed.
- If using Captain Cassie and C4 Charlie solely for their activated abilities, Attack Speed is not essential for them, although their main attack still benefits from it.
- On characters running a build which gains additional cash per pop, Baker's Shard, like all other attack speed increases, is very useful for helping them defend and in the process, make more income. The main characters used for income are C4 Charlie, Marceline, Warrior Bubblegum and Finn.
