Strengthenator is a Large Blooncard in Bloons Card Storm. It is immobile, and at the start of each turn, it adds 20 health to all other Bloons on the player's side. It is similar to the Aura of Strength Bloon. Only one copy of this card can be in the Collection.
Strengthenator is a cheaper and stronger Aura of Strength Bloon that can buff many Swarm Bloons and cheap Double Attack Bloons, but is reliant on drawing early in an aggro deck to succeed. Once established with Bloons on the field, it is difficult to stop without losing value due to the large buff every turn and the Strengthenator itself having a lot of health.
Strengthenator works best with Bloons that spawn other Bloons after being destroyed or leaked, like Blooming Bloon. Strengthenator also likes having many Bloons on field at once, so swarming with your board with Bloons such as Red Bloon increases the value of Strengthenator. Strengthenator can also make Double Attack Bloons harder to pop and deal more damage to the opposing hero.
Strengthenator’s “On Turn Start” condition makes it good to pair with Storms with high amounts of spawns early on, as the effect is triggered instantly after a Storm Bloon spawns.
Against it, Bloon Redirect is useful to stop it before it buffs a rush, as otherwise Monkeys have to make a choice to either target the Strengthenator to prevent it from buffing many Bloons, or target the Bloons placed to prevent value from being extracted out of the Strengthenator.
Outside of Dark Castle, Strengthenator can be one-shot by Storm Of Arrows, a popular anti-aggro card for Quincy.
During Version 6.2 playtesting, community playtesters argued that Strengthenator was a powerful anti-aggro card that was also very luck-dependent depending on how early it's drawn, particularly with the Storm, but less so in competitive gameplay due to anti-aggro control cards like Super Monkey that have strong burst damage.[1] The Health of the Strengthenator was reduced on the basis that Strengthenator becomes easier to burst down while still having above average Health for the cost.[1]
