Bloons Blitz is an upcoming bullet heaven game in the Bloons franchise developed by Ninja Kiwi. It is the third roguelike experience in the franchise, following the Rogue Legends DLC in Bloons TD 6 and the Striker's Adventure campaign in Bloons Card Storm. In this game, the player takes control of Quincy fighting against endless waves of Bloons that are constantly approaching him.[3] The player can collect experience to increase Quincy's level and unlock upgrades and monkeys to add to his team. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases and advertisements.[2]
In the game's plot, Quincy receives a campervan from Quincy Senior for his birthday, which he uses to travel the world just like he did when he was young.[4] The player uses this campervan to travel between areas.[5]
Starting from 19th May 2026, it soft-launched exclusively for the Philippines for playtesting.[6]
Gameplay
Bloons Blitz is played in portrait orientation. The player controls Quincy's movements around the map using a virtual control stick. He automatically shoots an arrow at the Bloon closest to him every few seconds. Popping Bloons reduces their layers, pushes them back, and causes them to drop experience. The Bloons are constantly moving towards Quincy and deal damage to him on contact.[7]
Picking up experience drops increases Quincy's level. When he levels up, the player can choose an upgrade, such as increasing the value of XP, improving Quincy's attack, or adding other attacking monkeys to the player's team that follow Quincy around.[4] Encounters randomly spawn across the map, which Quincy can pick up to grant temporary powerups to the team. There is a dotted line on the map that guides the player towards the location of Encounters.[8] The player can also collect toys to level up Heroes and unlock new upgrades, and collect stickers to unlock buffs for the team.[2]
While Ninja Kiwi has only released gameplay footage of Quincy, the store description implies the game has other Heroes.[2]

Pre-release
On 7 September 2025, Tim Haywood, the composer of music for most Bloons games, stated that he was going to release a new soundtrack for an unannounced Bloons game in 2025.[9] On 13 November 2025, Modern Times Group released a financial report that confirmed that Ninja Kiwi would release new games in Q1 and Q2 2026.[10] Since Ninja Kiwi is planning to release Zombie Assault: Resurgence in Q2 2026, it implied that the game was planned for Q1 2026 originally.
Ninja Kiwi themselves revealed Bloons Blitz on 19 November 2025, with a short teaser video showing gameplay of a Tack Shooter walking and fighting several Red Bloons and Blue Bloons, describing it as a "new way to pop Bloons".[3] They later revealed the game's name, logo, and premise on 21 November 2025 with a short video of the game's key art and a clip of one of the game's music tracks, a cover of "Street Party".[11] The date the official website launched is unknown, though the domain was registered on 11 November 2025.[12] Ninja Kiwi is releasing a series of YouTube Shorts teasers leading up to the game's release, demonstrating features like the controls, teams, and upgrades.
