Extra Shot Bloon is a Basic Bloon card in Bloons Card Storm, introduced in version 5.0. It starts with 50 shield, and when played a menu prompts the player to grant 1 Temporary Ammo to a target friendly Monkey. If the player has no friendly Monkeys on their side, this On Play effect will not trigger.
The artwork depicts an Extra Dart Bloon from the original Bloons games, with the classic Dart Monkey winking and holding its dart while standing on a platform of grass and stone.

- Extra Shot Bloon costs 2 more and has 55 less damage, but only 5 less effective health than Yellow Bloon, in exchange granting a temporary shot to a Monkey. This is helpful for offering your defenses more potential damage, especially with a high-damage Monkey such as Night Vision Sniper, Crippling Sniper, Fireball Wizard or a buffed Frag Bomb Shooter.
- Although the ammo is temporary, the double immediate burst of two Temporary Ammo attacks from strong Monkeys can be very impactful on defense and allow the user to defend much better.
- Extra Shot Bloon’s cost makes it good for building Bloontonium on heroes like Obyn Greenfoot, Zee Jay, Gwendolin, and Ezili, all who have powerful abilities they can access by using Extra Shot Bloon on defense.
- This Bloon’s ammo gain effect has synergy with Monkeys that have On Attack effects. With Shell Shock Mortar, as an example, you can deal 180 burst damage and stun up to 3 Bloons in one turn.

[...] 3 cost Extra Shot Bloon on its own is not a big problem, but with 2 charges, it becomes an incredibly strong defensive Bloon that can take out pretty much anything. Think about it like this: an Extra Shot Bloon is pretty much 90 damage for Sniper, or Super, that kind of thing. You use Night Vision, it's [...] with the better stats 110, which is a lot, and Extra Shot Bloon making you more Bloontonium, in its own right, is kind of a benefit. At 5 cost 2 charges, this became a Bloon that Zee Jay in particular liked to use quite a lot. Adora would use it on occasion, Ezili might use it, Striker Jones uses it sometimes, Obyn uses it. It's a Bloon with a lot more flexibility because it is a bit of offensive pressure with its quick delay and decent amount of health, but it also is a good defensive card because it immediately helps you defend while also building you a lot of Bloontonium [...] which makes Extra Shot a much more viable and interesting supportive Bloon than what it was before.

Development
Extra Shot Bloon was buffed to make it more viable as a support Bloon, such as for Zee Jay, Ezili (especially the 5 Bloontonium for Totems), Striker Jones, and other Heroes that want extra Bloontonium hybridized with general support.[1] The cost nerf makes it less effective in more aggressive decks, and more so for Tempo.[1]
