Living on the Edge is an achievement in Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 21.0. It is unlocked by winning a game with exactly 1 life remaining in any game mode, excluding Impoppable or CHIMPS (as those modes start with the player at 1 life by default).
Strategy
[edit | edit source]A reliable way to obtain this achievement is to disable Monkey Knowledge (to avoid 
Mana Shield and 
Pre-game Prep) and start a game of Easy standard in a long map (ex. Resort, Logs). Place a 0-0-0 Sniper Monkey to defend Round 1. At Round 2, wait for it to shoot once and sell it immediately (21 pops), then let the rest of Round 2 leak, if done correctly players should have 166 lives remaining at the end of the round.
From here, also let Rounds 3, 4 and 5 leak which combined have 165 RBE, this will leave the player with 1 life remaining, then continue playing game as normal at Round 6 with $1,096 cash available. Avoid using towers or abilities that restore lives for the rest of the game (ex. Benjamin, Support Chinook).
