Banana Investments Advisory (Banana Investments in the console version) is the Banana Farm's path 2 tier 4 upgrade in Bloons TD 5. It increases the Monkey Bank's cash generation to 100 packets of $10 per round (50 packets of $20 per round in the Flash version and Deluxe), increases its interest from 10% per round to 20%, and increases its capacity from $5,000 to $20,000. Crosspathing with More Bananas increases the number of cash packets generated per round from 100 to 104 (50 to 52 in the Flash version and Deluxe), and Banana Plantation further increases it from 104 to 118 (52 to 59 in the Flash version and Deluxe).

Strategy

The BIA serves as an alternative to the Banana Research Facility, and offers a greater payout with minimal investment compared to the BRFs higher reinvestment speed. When using at most 3 BIAs, it becomes more profitable compared to two BRFs, and thus can jumpstart late game farms faster, or become the sole farms necessary if the player does not wish to enter Freeplay. However, any additional BIAs do not scale well due to the lack of reinvestment speed, and the player should opt to use BRFs afterward.

To optimally get the first BIA, use 4 Banana Plantations and a single More Bananas farm, then save up $4800 to be able to sell all farms into a single 1-4.

Plan withdrawls on key choke rounds (like 49, 63, and 77) to minimize death while using. A 0-4 BIA should be withdrawn every 8 rounds, while a 2-4 can be withdrawn in 7. With the shorter cycle of a BIA with plantation, it can be upgraded/withdrawn from on a multiple of 7 and it will be collected before all listed choke rounds.
