Even after the nerfs in the last balance patch, Tight Ceramics are still proving to be one of the most dangerous rushes in the game. We’re spacing them out a little more in order to make it easier for defenses to handle them.
— Update notes
  •   Tight Ceramics: Total send time increased ― 1s → 1.2s
    • Note: Bloon delay increased from 0.025s to 0.03s

The editor who added this notice elaborates: What about recursive's tertiaries? Isn't it 6x the cluster pierce, so that recursive pierce got nerfed too?
Cluster Bombs is already a potent weapon against grouped bloons, especially when map blockers allow multiple explosions to hit the same bloon. We don’t feel like it needs any extra power so we are reducing the extra pierce gained from crosspathing.
— Update notes
Tiers Changes
1-0-3 Cluster Bombs + Bigger Bombs
1-0-4 Recursive Cluster + Bigger Bombs
1-0-5 Bomb Blitz + Bigger Bombs
  •   Cluster: pierce bonus decreased ― +6 → +4
    • Note: Total pierce decreased from 14 to 12
2-0-3 Cluster Bombs + Heavy Bombs
2-0-4 Recursive Cluster + Heavy Bombs
2-0-5 Bomb Blitz + Heavy Bombs
  •   Cluster: pierce bonus decreased ― +6 → +4
    • Note: Total pierce decreased from 20 to 16
Snowstorm is still an extremely effective stalling tactic, even with last update’s nerfs. We are increasing its price further in order to make it less efficient to micro.
— Update notes
Tiers Changes
X-4-X Snowstorm
  •   Upgrade cost increased ― $3,500 → $4,000
This was buffed in a previous update, but it has been performing better than we thought it would. So this should bring its performance to where we want it.
— Update notes
Tiers Changes
X-3-X Bouncing Bullet
  •   Upgrade cost increased ― $2,250 → $2,600
The Heli Pilot’s bottom path tier 5s often feel weaker than those of other towers so we are giving it a small buff to help it out. In addition, we are nerfing MOAB Shove slightly because its stall was too cost effective**.** [sic]
— Update notes
Tiers Changes
X-X-3 MOAB Shove
  •   Upgrade cost increased ― $3,700 → $4,000
X-X-5 Comanche Commander
  •   Upgrade cost reduced ― $35,000 → $34,700
  •   Mini-Comanche Dart: Attack cooldown reduced ― 0.15s → 0.13s

The editor who added this notice elaborates:
  • Does the +20 main explosion pierce carry into Biggest One?
  • Does the stun and shockwave pierces by +15 pierce carry into Biggest One?
  • Does the +4 blast radius carry over into Shell Shock, Big One, and Biggest One?
The Big One was feeling overshadowed by Artillery Battery in situations with large amounts of bloons. These pierce buffs should help it shine in these situations.

[...]

This buff will improve the mortar’s strength as damaging tower.
— Update notes

Tiers Changes
1-X-X Bigger Blast
2-X-X Bloon Buster
  •   Blast radius increased ― 26 → 30
    • Note: Blast radius bonus increased from +8 to +12
  •   Pierce increased ― 40 → 45
    • Note: Pierce bonus increased from +5 to +10
4-X-X The Big One
  •   Main explosion: Pierce increased ― 80 → 100
  •   Stunwave: Pierce increased ― 85 → 100
  •   Shockwave: Pierce increased ― 85 → 100
This upgrade was a little bit too cheap for its power, this should nerf the early game a little while still keeping it viable.
— Update notes
Tiers Changes
3-X-X Arcane Mastery
  •   Upgrade cost increased ― $1,200 → $1,300
The recent shinobi nerf made the Grandmaster Ninja a little underpowered. This should bring it back in line. Like the Grandmaster Ninja, the Master Bomber is also now a little underpowered. This buff should help it feel more consistent like it used to.
— Update notes
Tiers Changes
5-X-X Grandmaster Ninja
  •   Shuriken: Damage increased ― 2 → 4
0-X-5 Master Bomber
  •   Shuriken: Attack cooldown reduced ― 0.434s → 0.385s
    • Note: Flash Bomb (3rd shuriken shot) cooldown decreased from 1.302s to 1.155s
1-0-5 Master Bomber + Ninja Discipline
2-0-5 Master Bomber + Sharp Shurikens
  •   Shuriken: Attack cooldown reduced ― 0.62s → 0.55s
    • Note: Flash Bomb (3rd shuriken shot) cooldown decreased from 1.86s to 1.65s
Monkeynomics is underperforming after the x4x IMF Loan nerf. This should bring it back in line with how it was pre nerf.

[...]

This change will hopefully add a bit more identity to the bottom path, setting it apart from the other 2.
— Update notes

Tiers Changes
X-5-X Monkey-Nomics
  •   Ability cooldown decreased ― 50s → 40s
    • Note: Initial cooldown remains 30s
X-X-2 Banana Salvage
  •   Sellback bonus decreased ― +10% → +5%
    • Note: Marketplace and above unchanged (+10%)

The editor who added this notice elaborates: Does cooldown nerf to concussive affect the lvl that further decreases cooldown of the shell?
Biker Bones is very strong with late game strategies. This nerf to his earlier game will make him weaker early game to balance out his late game strength. Additionally we are introducing a new synergy with the buccaneer to vary his playstyles.
— Update notes
Levels Changes
3+
  •   Concussive Blast: Ability cooldown increased ― 24s → 30s
7+
  •   Flame Trail: Pierce reduced ― 4 → 2
  •   Flame Trail: Now affects the fighter planes of Aircraft Carrier and Carrier Flagship
We are making this change to make Pat’s slaps more consistent, without reducing his DPS.
— Update notes
Levels Changes
5+
  •   Slap: activations per slam increased ― 5th attack → 3rd attack
  •   Slap: Knockback duration decreased ― 1s → 0.5s
  •   Slap: Area-of-effect damage increased ― 0 → 2
We are changing this for the same reason as Pat’s, but the dps on Fusty the Snowman is already good so reducing amount ice shards will keep the dps as it was before.
— Update notes
Levels Changes
5+
  •   Slap: activations per slam increased ― 5th attack → 3rd attack
  •   Slap: Knockback duration decreased ― 1s → 0.5s
  •   Slap: Shard amount when hitting Frozen Bloons decreased ― 6 → 3
DJ Ben has been performing quite strongly in the current meta, so we’re making some adjustments to bring him more in line with other options.
— Update notes
Levels Changes
1+
  •   End-of-round income: Sub-towers (e.g. Sentry Gun) no longer count for income stacks
4-10
  •   Pierce buff to nearby towers decreased ― +1 → +0
11+
  •   Pierce buff to nearby towers decreased ― +2 → +1

9+
  •   Side Hustle: Income buff decreased ― +9% → +6%
14+

The editor who added this notice elaborates: Confirm if the targeting buff changes only the main drones (does it affect drone swarm and ucav?)
We thought it would be fun to add to Etienne's playstyle by incorporating his targeting options into his damage output.
— Update notes
Levels Changes
1-3
  •   Pierce increased ― 2 → 3
    • Note: Level 4–11 remains the same (3)
4+

  •   Targeting priorities now provide different stat bonuses for the main drones
    • Divide and Conquer: +20 movement speed and +10% attack speed
    • Zone Defense: +1 damage
    • First: +1 pierce (+2 pierce at level 9+)
Defend the hive was a little overpowered. This should bring it back in line.
— Update notes
Levels Changes
3+
  •   Defend the Hive: Speed modifier decreased ― 2× → 1.33×
