High Finance is an Advanced map in Bloons TD 6, introduced in version 3.0. It takes place in a city construction zone. This map features limited placeable terrain at the start, which can be expanded by spending cash to construct buildings.

Layout

[edit | edit source]

On odd rounds, Bloons enter from the top-right, make a loop at the top-left, then make a loop at the right, and exit at the bottom-left. On even rounds they enter from the top-center-left, make a loop at the center-bottom, and exit at the top-center-right. The odd round lane is the longest lane out of the Advanced maps, even besting Cornfield. There is a pond in the middle divided by a bridge that Bloons travel on odd rounds, with the bottom section of the pond being larger than the top section. There is limited base placeable terrain, and Super Monkeys are the largest towers that can fit there.

There are 15 constructible buildings on this map, with the $1,500 buildings being the only spots on this map to support Heli Pilots and Banana Farms. The $1,000 buildings and the lower-middle $750 building can fit towers up to Monkey Village's size, but not Super Monkeys. The lower-middle middle-left $750 building can fit up to Spike Factories. The bottom middle-left and bottom middle-right $350 buildings can support up to Boomerang Monkeys, while the other $350 & $500 buildings can only support the smallest towers, such as Dart Monkeys.

Strategy

[edit | edit source]

With its obstacles & limited placeable space but long & single-lane alternating tracks, High Finance is average in terms of difficulty compared to other Advanced maps. Heli Pilots are solid on this map, due to its single-lane alternating nature. The initial placeable space, despite being limited, can support an entire strategy, thanks to it having good coverage for both lanes. Towers that take good advantage of High Finance's layout are listed here.

Name Portrait Reasoning
Carrier Flagship Carrier Flagship carries its power throughout the latter part of mid-game and late-game. With the 5-2-0 cross-path, which is preferred on this map, both of its previous upgrades, Destroyer and Aircraft Carrier, transition well into their succeeding upgrade. Pair it with Admiral Brickell, whose Naval Tactics (which grants Flagship full DDT-popping power) and Mega Mines abilities are powerful in combination with Flagship.
The Bloon Solver Solver, when placed on the top-center of the $750 building at the lower-middle, gains wide coverage of both lanes. Its puddles trigger a chain effect that easily cleans up all Super Ceramics and lower-tier MOABs. It works well with Flagship, Brickell, and Comanche Commander, with all of them (in Brickell's case, Mega Mines) popping higher-tier blimps to allow Solver to trigger the chain effect.
Comanche Commander When paired with Geraldo's Sharpening Stone and Glue Storm, Comanche Commander deals solid damage throughout the late-game, along with some support with its shoving capabilities. Towers such as Solver pair well with Comanche Commander by covering the latter's problems with hyper-dense rounds such as 98.
