Damaged MOAB is a Large Bloon card in Bloons Card Storm. This Bloon has an effective health of 375 due to taking 125 points of damage immediately upon being played (triggering opposing Extractor Bloons). Compared to a regular MOAB, it has the same health before it gets cut, has a lower cost and reduced rarity.
In-game, Damaged MOAB has identical stats and in-game models to the regular MOAB before the health cut, but it is treated as a separate card and displays the Damaged MOAB card when selected.
The card artwork is similar to the regular MOAB but is set at badlands with cacti. The MOAB is leaking black smoke, and the fabric has many tears and bandages.
Tips

- Despite the damage done to the Bloon on play, at 4 Gold it is the most cost-effective Large Bloon, at 93.75 health per gold after its damage. As an Uncommon rarity Large Bloon, it is affordable to budget players. Because of its slow speed, it is less useful in very aggressive decks, and more useful for fast-paced midrange decks.
- Cards such as Necromancer, Bloon Repair Bot, and Healing Bloon can heal the MOAB back up before it is removed too quickly, and with Healing Bloon it can be used to instantly heal a Damaged MOAB if played on the same turn as it.
- Playing both charges gives you a total of 750 health on field for 8, making it better the earlier you can play it, as its high amount of health per cost allows you to create large pushes earlier than most cards allow.
- Damaged MOAB is not a good substitute for MOAB in more slow-paced midrange decks, due to the health you are receiving being spread out between two Bloons, and the higher amount of health two MOABs can provide. Damaged MOAB shines the earlier you can play it, giving it a different role than most Large Bloons.
- Zombie Rainbow Bloon can serve a similar function as Damaged MOAB, having even higher health in a single Bloon, but due to Damaged MOAB's faster delay, lower cost, two charges and higher initial health, it is worth it over Zombie Rainbow in decks that do not run any support for Undead Bloons.

Generally, Damaged MOAB was not a horrible card beforehand, but it just was a little underwhelming compared to the other options early, so Damaged MOAB has had a little bit more health to make it a bit more attractive to use for those early tempo decks.

Development
[edit | edit source]Damaged MOAB has its On Play self-damage reduced to make it more consistent as a faster-paced Tempo pick, even though the card itself was not at all bad.[1]
