Thanks for your edit to the Strategy:Alchemist (BTD6) article, I clearly wasn't aware of the middle path's use cases! Is permabrew legitimately useful in CHIMPS? I feel like the high cost would invalidate it, no? :I think I can answer this one. The high cost is a tough saveup but it allows a lot of spam strategies like overdrives and dragon's breaths to effectively have triple damage on all towers (when using a few berserker brews would probably lose AMD buff), or even being used with Sun Avatars due to the infinite uptime on the brew regardless of attack speed. It's not that terrible, especially since they did cut the price a lot in a recent balance patch. --Planterror (talk) 15:45, 8 February 2025 (UTC)

:As Planterror said, Perma-Brew has been a serviceable tower in CHIMPS since its v44.0 price cut, being niche but powerful in specific use cases, with its difficult save up being helped by the strong mid-game of some towers it pairs well with (ex. Destroyers, Full Auto Rifles, Sun Avatars). Perma-Brew + Destroyers is one of the best black border strategies on maps like #Ouch, and Perma-Brew + Full Auto Rifles is exceptional on maps like Muddy Puddles and Infernal. I appreciate your initiative on the Alchemist strategy page as well, it is always good to see more people working on and improving this wiki! --Player (talk) 16:03, 8 February 2025 (UTC)
Hey
Why you removed Avatar of Wrath on CHIMPS strategy? Clarita34566 (talk) 00:47, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
Avatar of Wrath was on the CHIMPS strategy recommendation list due to its strong synergy with Geraldo (with Sharpening Stone and Gerry's Fire). However, Geraldo nerfs have meant that Avatar of Wrath takes a hit, and it is now significantly weaker than it once was despite not being directly nerfed. While Obyn does still work alright with Avatar of Wrath, their synergy is not as strong as Avatar of Wrath's was with Geraldo. Obyn also has stronger synergies, such as with the newly buffed Archmage. Thus, Avatar of Wrath unfortunately is no longer good enough relative to other towers to crack the recommendation list. That said, I will hold off from removing Avatar of Wrath again until Archmage or another simple-to-use tower is conclusively shown to be stronger.
