The Sharpening Stone is a Geraldo's Shop item in Bloons TD 6. It applies a buff to a tower ~~which~~ is capable of dealing ~~Sharp~~ damage (~~ignoring~~ buffs such as Monkey Intelligence Bureau), increasing the pierce of ~~its~~ Sharp attacks by +1 for 10 rounds. At level 15 the buff is upgraded to increase pierce by +2.

The Sharpening Stone is a Geraldo's Shop item in Bloons TD 6. It applies a buff to a tower that is inherently capable of dealing Sharp-type damage (eligibility is not affected by buffs such as Monkey Intelligence Bureau), increasing the pierce of all Sharp attacks by +1 for 10 rounds. At level 15 the buff is upgraded to increase pierce by +2 instead. The Sharpening Stone can only target towers with at least one attack that can deal Sharp damage. Sub-towers can also inherit the buff, but follow the same damage type conditions. Sub-towers that cannot deal Sharp damage, such as the Sentry Champion's sentries, can still display the buff icon despite not benefitting from it.

If a tower with the Sharpening Stone buff is upgraded to lose the ability to deal Sharp damage or is transformed by Total Transformation, it loses the buff. An upgraded version of the buff may be applied to a tower with an inferior version, overriding it and resetting the duration.
