i don't know if i phrased this the best way... it's like, the alchemist's effect gains a 10% chance to explode with level 2, but any bloons that get affected as a result of the chain reaction still only have a 5% chance to explode |

Detonative Compound is one of the Alchemist Monkey's Transmute Path upgrades in Bloons Blitz. This upgrade causes Bloons that pop with the Alchemist Monkey's acid to have a 5% chance (10% with the Level 2 version) to explode into a cloud of smoke. Bloons that touch the cloud are afflicted with the same acid effect, including the same 5% chance to explode and create another smoke cloud when popped (the Level 2 version does not affect the 5% chance of subsequent Bloons exploding).
