Bloons Tower Defense 3 (also referred to with the retronyms Bloons TD 3 and BTD3) is an Adobe Flash game in the Bloons TD series developed by Ninja Kiwi, released in 2008. It is built on the previous two Bloons Tower Defense games, but introduces several new features. Most notably, towers in Bloons TD 3 can be upgraded twice per upgrade path, compared to only once in previous games. Bloons TD 3 also introduces 8 new maps, two new tower types, a new placeable item, and two new bloon types.
