Glue is an effect in the Bloons TD series and the mobile version of Bloons Supermonkey 2 that causes Bloons to become glued. While glued, Bloons move slower and may take damage over time. The mechanic was introduced in Bloons Tower Defense 2, as an effect inflicted by Monkey Glue. Glue Gunners prominently use glue attacks, though their iteration in Bloons Pop!, the Acid Gunner, inflicts acid instead.
Bloons TD series
Glue is an attack behavior that causes Bloons to move slower. In Bloons TD 6, Bloons Adventure Time TD, and Bloons TD Battles 2, it is treated as a type of slow, and the damage over time inflicted by corrosive glue is a separate effect. In other games, glue is treated as a distinct effect that can also apply damage over time.
Glue level
In Bloons TD 6, glue uses a "glue level" system that determines which types of glue override other types of glue. The Glue Gunner cannot target or glue Bloons that are afflicted with glue of the same level or higher, but it can target and glue Bloons that have lower level glue.[fn 1] If a glued Bloon is glued by higher-level glue, the higher-level glue replaces the lower-level glue. Since damage over time is separate from the slowing effect of glue, higher level glue (e.g., MOAB Glue or a Tube of Amaz-o-Glue) overriding Corrosive Glue (or a further upgrade) does not remove or replace its damage over time.

List of sources of glue
| This section is incomplete. You can help out by expanding it. The editor who added this notice elaborates: list things that can apply glue in each game |
- Glue Gunner
- Temple Of The Monkey God (with Glue Gunner sacrifices)
Bloons Supermonkey 2

Footnotes
- ↑ 2-0-5 Super Glue with Corrosive Glue (level 5) can target Bloons glued by The Bloon Solver (level 6), but its projectiles will not collide with those Bloons. This appears to be unintentional.
