Contested Territory can be played solo but preferably as a team to take full advantage of tile captures and backup plans versus other rival teams. In general, aim for the Banner tiles for the most score, get certain powerful Relic tiles to make it easier to secure scores on contested tiles, and capture Regular tiles otherwise. Certain rulesets are more favorable for some team members than others.
