Powers Pro are enhanced versions of Powers in Bloons TD 6 introduced in version 50.0. They are more powerful than regular Powers, but cost more Monkey Money to purchase, and requires unlocking them with XP to use. Each Power Pro also has nine upgrades, split into three paths of three tiers of upgrades, that cost cash. Not all Powers have a Pro version; they will be introduced in future updates.

The player unlocks a Power Pro after obtaining a certain amount of XP for that Power. They are separate items from their base Powers and do not permanently replace them when unlocked. A Power Pro cannot be used before unlocking it, regardless of how it is obtained (e.g. through Odyssey rewards).

• Purchasing a Power earns XP equal to its Monkey Money cost times 8.
• After unlocking a Power Pro, buying the non-Pro variant of that Power earns lesser XP, equivalent to its Monkey Money cost times 2.
• Using a Power (outside of Rogue Legends or Contested Territory) earns XP equal to its Monkey Money cost times 2.
• Purchasing or Using a Power Pro earns double XP as regular Power.

Powers Pro have their own upgrades. Like regular towers, they have three upgrade paths, but they only have three upgrade tiers each, and they cannot crosspath. Players can only have one Tier 3 Power Pro from each path, working in the same way to Tier 5 of regular Towers.

Powers Pro count towards the maximum tower limit in Challenge Editor.

Development

Powers Pro are based on Special Agent Pros from Bloons TD 5. "Power Pros" were teased in the update notes for version 15.0, but were never mentioned again until the update notes for version 47.0, a little over five years later. According to the update notes for version 50.0, the development team revived the concept after it "had enough design and discussion to evolve to the right extent to merit inclusion in BTD6."
