Growth Gas Bloon is an Advanced Bloon card in Bloons Card Storm. It adds 10 Health to all Bloons on the player's side (except itself) each time it takes damage.
The card artwork depicts a Growth Gas Bloon emitting green gas throughout, increasing the size of nearby Bloons.

- Growth Gas Bloon’s primary purpose is to punish players that heavily rely on area damage and/or random attacks. The Bloon itself is too slow to be a threat for leaking; it is a support Bloon for reducing damage that other friendly Bloons take.
- You can exploit Quincy having Perceptive Shot up to buff all of your Bloons by 10 if you are fighting Quincy.
- Certain Monkeys and Powers are weak to Growth Gas Bloon. Low-damage area attacks are especially susceptible.
- Two Growth Gas Bloons will make Spike Storm! do very little damage. Blade Maelstrom's end-of-turn effect is also affected for the same reasons.
- On Dark Castle, one Growth Gas Bloon is enough to stop two Spike Storms from one-shotting Reds. Quincy users can then follow up with Bloon Embiggen and/or Arrow Shot on a friendly Growth Gas Bloon.
- Triple Shot will not do much damage to nearby bloons if one of the darts hits a Growth Gas bloon.
- Glaive Ricochet’s “On Attack” effect is practically non-existent while Growth Gas Bloon is present, and actively detrimental if there are two or more Growth Gas Bloons.
- Quincy, Gwendolin, Obyn, and Striker Jones can damage their own Growth Gas Bloons with their abilities. This is only really practical with Quincy, who can use Arrow Shot to activate Growth Gas multiple times in rapid succession without damaging the Growth Gas too badly.
- With Quincy, Growth Gas can be used to enable OTK setups with Bloons such as Pink Bloons and Setup Bloons.

On Damaged: health bonus reduced ― +20 → +10
“
Growth Gas Bloon, although a decent card for Quincy specifically, really suffered from being incredibly slow for no real reason. Now, at 3 delay, it's a lot less easy to ignore a Growth Gas Bloon if it has health still remaining on it [...] while not really hurting the interactions with Quincy where he would use Growth Gas to buff up his own stuff. You still have enough time to do that. It's just not so slow it'll never hit the opponent.

Development
This card existed in the data of Bloons Card Storm since the Firstlook test, and was originally named "Growth Spore Bloon", though it went unused until the full release. The full release changed its effect and stats.

Version 6.4 changes the philosophy that was stated in early versions of the BCS public release by having a lower delay, making it more of a direct threat when unharmed.[1] Quincy's hitting of friendly Growth Gas Bloons remains popular, but the new Growth Gas Bloon can be more useful in Tempo.[1]
