Sonic Boom is the Boomerang Thrower's path 2 tier 1 upgrade in Bloons TD Battles. It changes the Boomerang Thrower's damage type from Piercing to Fire, allowing its projectiles (and Glaive Lord's orbiting glaives if crosspathed) to pop frozen Bloons.
