Tips
| This strategy section is empty or incomplete. See the strategy guidelines for more information on how to write strategy sections. The editor who added this notice elaborates: More could be said about how to strategize with a zommoab, such as whether it's a good early card for tempo, or maybe something you'd add with other bloons |
- The Zombie MOAB has a total health pool of 760 when accounting for Revive. It's 3 delay slower than a MOAB for the same price, but the lingering Health makes it suitable as meatshields. With two of them, Zombie MOAB becomes very hard to take down.
- Its massive meatshield makes it suitable for protecting Camo Bloons.
- Be careful not to pop a Zombie MOAB with Revive if it has zero delay, or else it will become a fully healthy Bloon again. However, its very long delay usually makes this not too much of a concern.
- Zombie MOAB is the only two-charge Zombie Bloon, making it a great option to stack the board with Bloons with Revive, which can survive things that simply "destroy" a Bloon, notably Bloonsday Device and MOAB Eliminator become harder to use against it.

Development
Initially during Version 6.2 playtests, the Zombie MOAB was only given an extra charge, with the design practice of similar MOAB cards like the Damaged MOAB or normal MOAB.[1] However, playtesters found it difficult to counter the new Zombie MOABs compared to normal MOABs despite the 7 delay (versus 4).[1] A community tester noted that the new health reduction of the Zombie MOAB from 350 to 330 makes Dart Arts Wizard synergy more necessary, a change that they deem justifiable, since equipping Undead-specific synergy would hurt defensive capability.[1]
