Hero Skins are a type of cosmetic item in Bloons TD 6. They are unlockable reskins of Heroes that replace their models, animations, visual effects, and voice clips. Some Hero Skins are exclusive to the Chinese version.
In Bloons TD Battles 2, Hero Skins are replaced with Hero Alts, which have gameplay differences from the Heroes they are derived from. Many Hero Skins in BTD6 reappear as Hero Alts in Battles 2, though some Hero Alts are wholly original.
