Insta Monkey
Insta Monkeys (sometimes parsed Insta-Monkeys and often shortened to Instas) are a game mechanic in Bloons TD 6. They can be deployed in a game to place a tower with preset upgrades, without costing any cash.

Completing rounds
One Insta Monkey is earned for completing every 100th round. The tier of the Insta Monkey on round 100 depends on the difficulty of the map, while Insta Monkeys for rounds 200 and on are always tier 3 or tier 4.
- Beginner: Tiers 0-2
- Intermediate: Tiers 1-3
- Advanced: Tiers 2-4
- Expert: Tiers 3-4
On Primary Only, Military Only, and Magic Monkeys Only, the Insta Monkeys will always be towers of their corresponding tower category. There is no equivalent for Support towers.
Shop items
Borders
On the Collection screen, borders are added around the towers' icons, similar to the map borders, once a certain set of Insta Monkeys for that tower have been collected. A gold border is added if the player has all Insta Monkeys for that tower up to tier 4, which is replaced with a black border if the player has all tier 5 Insta Monkeys as well.
