Ceramic Bloon
Ceramic Bloons (Brown Bloons in Bloons Tower Defense 3 and Bloons TD 4 in a few places) are Bloons with shells made of ceramic, requiring more damage to pop than most Bloons. They are usually ranked between Rainbow Bloons and MOABs.
Gameplay
Ceramic Bloons typically appear in mid-late game rounds. They have multiple points of health and split into two Rainbow Bloons when popped. They also spawn as children from MOABs and DDTs. In Bloons Tower Defense 3, Bloons TD 4, and the Flash versions of Bloons TD 5, Bloons TD Battles, and Bloons Monkey City, Super Ceramics are not slowed by glue (though they still take damage over time from corrosive glue), but in other games, they have no immunities. In Bloons TD 6, Bloons TD Battles 2, and Bloons Adventure Time TD, they can be Fortified Bloons, which doubles their health.
Starting in Bloons TD 5, in the late game, non-MOAB-Class Bloons that spawn multiple children (such as Ceramic Bloons, Rainbow Bloons, and Zebra Bloons) only spawn one child Bloon when popped to reduce lag. To make up for this, Ceramic Bloons are replaced with "Super Ceramic Bloons", which are visually identical, but have more health. The specific mechanics of Super Ceramic Bloons vary depending on the game.

Characteristics

Ceramic Bloons are Bloons with a shell made of brown-colored hardened clay. In Bloons Tower Defense 3, the shell has no particular pattern, but starting in Bloons TD 4, it has a decorative pattern carved into it like pottery. The exact pattern is inconsistent, but it is usually depicted with multiple lines and one or two bands of small circles. Also starting in BTD4, the shell visibly cracks and fragments as the Ceramic Bloon takes damage, revealing a Rainbow Bloon underneath. In Bloons Card Storm, there does not appear to be a Rainbow Bloon inside.
